- Represented Lancashire at county level during his junior golf career.
- Specialises in Junior Development, creating fun and structured learning experiences
- Delivers NGAGE Group Coaching Sessions and 1:1 lessons

Simon Townend
PGA Professional
With over 40 years of coaching and professional playing experience, Simon has helped golfers of all levels enhance their skills and enjoyment of the game.
- Turned professional at age 16 and became an Assistant Professional at Blackburn GC
- Played on the PGA European Tour from 1987-1992, competing worldwide
- Holds a European Tour Putting Record of 8 putts in 9 holes and 20 putts in a round
- Competed in The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale (1991)
- Spent over 25 years coaching at Wilpshire Golf Club, working with golfers from beginners to national-level players
- Now a freelance PGA coach, bringing decades of expertise to Bluebird Golf Centre

Nikki Foster
PGA Professional Assistant
Nikki has grown up with golf, rising through the junior ranks at both Pleasington Golf Club and Accrington Golf Club before representing Lancashire and England internationally.
- Competed in the 2011 Ladies British Open at Carnoustie
- Experienced multiple successful seasons at an international level
- Took a ten-year break from competitive golf to raise a family
- Now part of the Elite Golf Coaching staff, while heading up the Whalley Golf Club professional shop and coaching centre
